Programs

Community School of the Arts programs are available for students of all of ages and interests. Most programs are based on a 16-week term of instruction, with students strongly encouraged to plan for two terms (an academic year) of instruction when signing up for private lessons. CSA reserves the right to cancel any course offering for which there is insufficient interest.

Recitals are held at regular intervals throughout the year, usually on Saturdays in Rieth Recital Hall. See Calendar for exact dates. We hope that CSA students will perform at one or more of these recitals during the year, which are free and open to the public. Teachers decide when a student is ready to perform and will initiate the procedure with the student, parent and CSA staff.

An added benefit to all CSA students and immediate family members is the arrangement with the Music Center for admission to many Music Center concerts. Concerts that qualify for this benefit are regularly posted in the Announcements.
